Consultant, CEO whisperer, author
With this goal-oriented and self-confident mindset, Tish creates change. Early on, she developed a great feeling for niche markets and realized her talent in helping business leaders become “unstuck” and learn to make effective decisions. Today, Tish continues driving success by focusing her time and commitment to CANDOR Consulting, the management consulting firm she founded, advising executives with her bold style which is punctuated by her early warning to new clients; “If you don’t feel differently on how you are making decisions after 30 days, I’m doing something wrong.”
Tish helps clients leverage human capital to drive the success of their business rather than simply support it. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge from a broad range of disciplines, she has particular expertise in change management processes, business strategy development, as well as behavioral and organizational dynamics. Combining sharp problem solving skills with effective mediation abilities, Tish works primarily with CEOs, executive management and boards of directors within organizations at various stages of development, ranging from early entrepreneurial to Fortune 500 companies.
The idea of the book, HeadTrash was born while Tish, was advising a client who, while undergoing an organizational transformation, was becoming immobilized by fear, guilt and insecurity. Pressure and fear of failure in the eyes of her clients was Tish’s first personal “HeadTrash” experience. As she was developing her business, Tish often needed other people’s confirmation to bolster her self-confidence and insecurity. Learning to manage this type of head trash, which she defines as “patterns of self-defeating feelings and thoughts that can immobilize and keep you stuck”, ultimately improved her way of thinking and has made her a sought after advisor to executives and CEOs.
Tish is the CEO and Managing Partner of CANDOR Consulting. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia based non-profit organization, ACHIEVEability. Tish lives with her husband and two children in Valley Forge, PA.
